Scotty & Lauren made it to the final 2! Yippee!!!

I think I’m quite good at spotting talent owh hehehe.. kes perasan ni.. but I was never wrong in predicting AI winners since Carrie Underwood.. For this season, I did mention in this entry that Lauren Alaina is going to be in the final and in my previous post, I mentioned that Scotty may win this whole thing this year! I got the top twos right, kan?

And I still think Scotty will be the next American Idol.

Why?

Let’s look at the trend for the past 3 seasons. The best singer will always be the runner-up. Crystal Bowersox was the best last year, and she was the runner-up. Adam Lambert was the best singer in season 8, he was the runner up. David Archuleta was the favourite in season 7, but David Cook won. See??? The guy next door always win… Lauren is so talented, has a great voice and she can sing anything, no doubt she’ll always hit THE note, but Scotty? He’s the boy next door! He’s the kind of guy that Moms all around the world would approve of being their daughter’s boyfriend 😀 Like Beyonce said, he’s just so charming!

So, I’m rooting for Scotty. If Lauren wins this year, then it would be my 1st wrong prediction since Carrie Underwood… and I’ll take that.

1. Scotty McCreery. (1 of my favs. Not a fan of his low voice tho but it’s interesting to see how he would progress in this competition.)

2. Lauren Alaina. (No surprise here.. And I don’t even like her performance yesterday.. )

3. Pia Toscano. (*Like*)

4. Karen Rodriguez. (Yeay!!! *Like*)

5. Jacob Lusk. (*LIKE*)

6. Casey Abrams. (*LIKE* ^ Infinity)

7. Thia Megia.

8. Paul MacDonald. (I have to click Like on Paul because he is so unique… just like Scotty, it would be interesting to find out how they would progress in the competition. *Like*)

9. Haley Reinhart. (The last girl who made it to top 5 girls. I prefer Naima or Lauren Turner to Haley tho… hope Naima will make it to top 12 via wild card round since Lauren didn’t even make it to wild cards.. bummer!)

10. James Durbin. (I might like him if he continues to give great performance like the one he did last Tuesday.)

I haven’t been paying any attention to my American Idol’s “little bird” last season.. but this year, with the new judges and all, i couldn’t help but to check in on the little bird that has been left tweeting alone for so long and guess what, little bird does tweet some good stuff!

Based on his performance on the past few weeks, I don’t think he has a strong voice, tp boleh lah bah..

He’s good, but he’s so full of himself! I hate what he did to Jacee!

Ahh.. certainly remember this one. The biggest aerosmith fan. My status update in FB a few days ago : I know it’s a tad too soon to predict but I’m pretty sure we’ll be seeing Lauren Alaina in the AI final. Not a fan of hers but no doubt she’s an incredibly talented young singer.
