i haven’t blog for a while – not because i don’t have anything interesting to blog about – i do, i do have a lot of exciting things i’d like to tell the whole world, like :-

BUT

i’m busy.

i need to complete a BIG system for HR dept, which is not that complex but i find it hard coz i’m trying to program it in php – which has been around for ages now but still something very new to me. well, i can program a simple web-based application with it, it’s not that i’m totally blank about that lang but this project i’m currently working on is nothing "simple". so, good luck to me.

for the past few days/weeks, i’ve been working quite very hard on the system but… today, i just feel like i need a one day break. spent the day bloghopping – i know my immediate boss & my BIG boss wouldn’t be happy reading this. i’m pretty sure they read my blog too. i wouldn’t be too happy either if i know they (the bosses) are reading my blog during office hour instead of doing what they should be doing.

and speaking of bloghopping, i found a few more blogs written by ppl from my workplace. that reminds me (again) that i’m not alone anymore…  and that i should be more careful with whatever i wrote. no more kutuk-ing anybody superior, no more bad-mouthing anybody or anything related to my workplace… which actually make it all the more difficult to blog regularly – i mean, who would want to read about your children every day? who would want to visit a blog that only post youtube videos & song lyrics? and since i’m not a cloth diaper seller, i do not see the point of blogging about cloth diapers every day. and i dont like blogging about current issues when hundreds of others are blogging about the same thing, e.g fuel price hike. and i’m pretty sure ppl do not like an "About Me" entry posted every day. i guess i might as well stop blogging at all, revert back to a hand-written journal, y’know, cute little (thick) diary with a little cute padlock.

i got this from a friend. not that sure on the accuracy of all these tho, but they look quite reasonable and believeable too…

1- watch out your RPM meter, higher RPM means higher cycle, higher cycle need more combustion, more combustion need more fuel. yet too low RPM may cause your engine inefficient. theoritically at 3756 rev per minute petrol perform the most efficient combustion inside your engine. the best solution is to maintain your RPM in between 2500 RPM to 4000 RPM. ~ mmm… which one is the RPM?

2- Try to avoid your RPM meter go above 4500 since its counted as acceleration and combustion inside your engine won’t have enuf time to burn completely. therefore it is declared as one good ay to waste your fuel if you don’t mind. ~ dis one patut can combine with the point above

3- maintain your speed. once you accelerated at suitable or safe speed, maintain it as long as possible since at this rate your fuel will be combust at constant rate or in easy word you save the fuel up this way ~really?

4- try to avoid braking too much. while braking your engine still running same as before your braking, therefore another waste of fuel, best solution is to also step on your clutch while braking, yet dont step your clutch when braking on the way down from hill, its dangerous. ~ siap ada warning lagi

5- keep your tyres at the manufacturer suggested pressure. this is to lessen the friction between the tyre and the road which will consume your horsepower and slowing your acceleration. thus slow acceleration take more of your time to achieve a desireable speed, more time to accelerate, more fuel will be wasted. ~ dingar tu!

6- fill your fuel at dawn, evening, or night. because filling the fuel under hot environment can easily evaporate some of your precious fuel. and also remember not to trigger the pump all the way up cause that may speed up the fuel flow in which the fuel might also evaporate due to formation of bubble as the flow of fuel hits your tanks. so make sure to push it half or slow. ~ hah? really???

7- consider of using manual car instead of automatic car. automatic car will only shift gear at a preset condition in which its hard to control your RPM in that way ~ ih, but if always jam, bagus lagi pakai automatic! sakit kaki bah mo tekan clutch balik2

8- much people say She** petrol can give you more kilometre, yet the side effect is your valve may get dirty (due to carbon-sulphur ratio) which in time will worn out and lead to fuel bleed, further cause incomplete combustion and pollution. thus your fuel will be wasted. try other fuel that offer protection of this such as Petron** or Calt** ~ nahh! kedapatan! the writer of this tips must be someone related to either Petron** or Calt**

9- keep track of your ‘TRIP’ meter, for instance every time you refuel set your trip meter to zero and start monitor how much distance you get for that much value of refuelling. calculate your daily basis distance travel and you can now made a budget of fuel expense base on that, this is to prevent you from excess kilometre that you dont need ~ ok, this one is good

10- whenever you are outing for entertainment or time commitment, try use public transportation as much as possible. its good for your health to walk around, you might find something on the way around, and most importantly its save your fuel!! ~ nah kaoooo!!!

Cook triumphs over Archuleta on ‘American Idol’

this morning, ellone brought a (small) packet of Tiger biscuit to school. just now, i asked her whether she has eaten her the biscuits or not. she then told me that a boy by the name of Alex had taken and eaten it without anyone’s knowing.

so kesian she didn’t even had a chance to taste it…

i said to her, later we go and buy another biscuit and bring it to school tomorrow. she agreed and add, "we buy 4 ok, mommy? 2 kasi kawan, 2 ellone punya"

and i haven’t even taught her Maths yet! 

Ellone has been wanting to have Big Apple Donuts since last Thursday. she even ask her aunty to call us to buy them for her. and we did, but 6 pcs only. at almost 8 o’clock that night, jnr ate the last donut thinking nobody would want to eat it anymore. when ellone found out, she cried and cried and cried and asked her daddy to go and buy more. daddy pujuk her saying that he will bring her on sunday but she said "ELLONE MAU SEKARANG!!!!!" and continue crying for about 15 minutes. luckily her aunty wanted to go to Servay and asked her to come along, baru aman dunia. but still, she made her daddy promise to bring her to go and buy Big Apple Donuts on Sunday.

on Friday, jnr and the kids – minus xavier, went to their aunty helen’s house. guess what? aunty helen had bought Big Apple Donuts! well, not for the kids actually but since they were already there, also had a helping la.. nakatapun jugalah ellone…

saturday evening, ellone started to feel unwell. she keep complaining about a headache. we had a wedding to attend. drag ellone along coz there is no one to look after her at home. so embarrassing, she actually vomited at the wedding, di khalayak orang ramai yg sedang makan lagi tuuuu… an ex-unimate said "oh… biasa sudah bah begini ni.. hehehe.." and then he put two chairs to cover the vomit! good idea also… but the smell is still bad la… luckily ellone only had milk before that so, vomited milk only. since ellone and jnr had vomit all over them, we decided to go home, padahal baru sampai lagi tu. but come to think of it, that evening had not really started out good. first, ellone’s complaints, second, on the way to the entrance of the cultural hall, i suddenly noticed the tag of my top was sticking out in front! i was like "Damn! my baju tebalik! !@#$%%" i told jnr and there was this big bus nearby so we went at the back and i quickly fix my baju. the final one was the vomit lah.

and she continued to vomit the whole night through… she vomitted until there were nothing else coming out except for the yellowish  thingy which i know must have tasted so bitter in her mouth! so kesian… and she didnt even have fever. i keep touching her forehead and it felt normal…

sunday came and she was so weak she couldn’t even sit. she lied down all morning. she ate a bowl of porridge (while lying down) and went back to sleep. when she woke up at about 11, i changed her cloth, lap2 her a bit and brought her to see the doctor. just after i step inside the clinic, the power went off. so the doctor had to check ellone in the dark. told him that she keep vomiting since last night. doctor said there was no fever. he wanted to check on ellone’s throat so he put in the stick into ellone’s mouth. ellone gagged along with a little vomit and the doctor manage to avoid. i apologized and the doctor said "tidak apa bah… sya tidak kena juga" and then that’s when the vomit of all vomits came! ellone vomited all over me, the floor and even the doctor! OMG, that was so embarrassing!!!! ellone was given some medicine for her vomiting, for fever and also antibiotics.

back at home, i gave her all the medicine, she ate bubur again and went to sleep. at 5 in the evening, she woke up with a smile and say "HI!!!!" she said she feels ok already and to keep his promise, daddy brought us to warisan square’s Big Apple Donuts and let ellone choose for herself a dozen of yummy donuts. she sang all the way home, which means she’s back to her usual self.

while i was typing my previous entry, she suddenly said "SEDAP!!!" – but her eyes are closed. i asked her, "apa yang SEDAP??" and she replied "BIG APPLE DONUTS!" with a smile and her eyes are still closed. i called her again "Ellone… Ellone…???" but she didn’t answer – for she is fast asleep
